SUMMARY:ROBO SOCCER || V-PRAYUKTI’24
LOCATION:Bannari Amman Institute of Technology\, Sathyamangalam
DESCRIPTION:<p>Dive into the thrill of Robo Soccer! This event invites enth
usiasts to design and showcase their robotic soccer players in intense\, c
ompetitive matches. Engineer your way to victory as your robots showcase a
gility\, strategy\, and technical finesse on the miniature soccer field. I
t's a dynamic showdown where innovation meets the excitement of the game.
Join us for Robo Soccer and bring your mechanical team to life in this ele
 ctrifying competition!<br />\n<br />\nELIGIBILITY<br />\nAll UG\, PG and D
IPLOMA students with valid ID cards are permitted.<br />\n<br />\nTEAM SIZ
E<br />\nTeam size 1 - 5 members (Any institution or group of students may
form a team or individual participation is allowed)<br />\n<br />\nNOTE:<
br />\nBatteries of the gel cell\, lithium\, NiCad\, or dry cell types mus
t be sealed and immobilized.<br />\nFor every robot\, the maximum electric
voltage that should exist within the machine at any given time is 12V DC.
<br />\nThe robot must not emit infrared light. Infrared light-reflecting
materials must not be used on the outside.<br />\nIt is required to use a
single bot in the arena\, using multiple bots is not permitted.<br />\nThe
team is required to bring their own battery charger\, we will only supply
the power outlets.<br />\nThe robot can be autonomous or manually control
led using a Remote- control system.<br />\nAny robotic parts/building mate
rial can be used until the robot meets the above specifications and if the
design and construction are primarily the original work of the team ready
-made robots are not allowed to compete in the competition.<br />\nIf a te
am claims that their robot is affected by the other team’s robot in any
way they must show proof/evidence of the interference.<br />\nAny interfer
ence must be confirmed by a Referee if a claim is placed by the other team
for penalities.<br />\nInstitute &amp\; event is not responsible for any
bot damages that happens during play.<br />\nEstimate the wire's length in
a wired bot by using the arena measurements that we provided.<br />\nBall
  size - 45mm (+/- 5mm)<br />\nArena dimension is 10 x 7 ft.<br />\n<br />\
 nBOT SPECIFICATIONS:<br />\nA bot must fit inside a 30 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm
box at any point in time.<br />\nMaximum weight should not be more than 5K
gs (including battery) for wirelessly controlled bots (tolerance 5%).<br /
 >\nOnly one member is allowed to control the robot during the match.<br />
\nIn wired robots\, wires must be insulated and all the wires should be st
acked properly. Ensure that the wires remain stacked during the fight/matc
h.<br />\nChange of battery will be allowed during the break.<br />\nPorts
or attachments that can break/damage opponents' bots are not allowed.<br
/>\nThe robot should not be designed in such a way that it can hold / grou
p / grab the ball during the match.<br />\nTeams using wireless robots sho
uld use multi-frequency remotes to avoid frequency interference.<br />\n<b
 r />\nRULES:<br />\nThe total duration is 6 minutes. 5 minutes for a match
which is divided into two halves (2.5 mins each) and 1 minute break.<br /
 >\nIf a team fails to report within three minutes after the third call of
the game\, or if any team engages in malpractice\, the opponent will be de
clared the winner.<br />\nIn case no team hits a goal\, a penalty will be
given &amp\; only one Bot will be placed in the arena &amp\; One shot will
be given. The team with a short duration of hitting the goal will be anno
unced as the winner.<br />\nHuman interference (e.g. touching the robot) d
uring the game is not allowed.<br />\nDecision of the Judges and Event Org
anizers shall be treated as final and binding.<br />\nThe event coordinato
r is the match referee. He takes all the decisions and participants have t
o abide by it.<br />\nNo more AC/DC power supply will be provided at the s
ight of the play.<br />\nCoordinators reserve the right to ask for an expl
anation of the robot. The coordinator can change the rules of the game dep
ending on the situation.<br />\nThe decision of result will be taken by th
 e coordinator is full &amp\; final\, not interchangeable at any cost.<br /
 >\nThe arena will have side walls\, bots can use side walls to reflect/bou
nce back the ball for tactics but goals should only be hit directly.<br />
\nPositions of balls and obstacles in the arena will be decided by the org
anizers on the particular day of event.<br />\n<br />\nFOULS<br />\nAny ki
nd of intentional damage caused to the opponent bot will be considered a f
oul. Severe fouls will lead to disqualification.<br />\nMaximum a team can
have 2 fouls\, in the third foul\, the team will be disqualified.<br />\n
 Registration Fees: Rs. 500<br />\nRegistration Deadline: 20 MARCH</p>
