SUMMARY:Research Avenues in Drives and Control Engineering 2019
LOCATION:PSG College of Technology\, Coimbatore
DESCRIPTION:
This one week Faculty Development Program aims at exposing t
he faculty members and participants to recent developments in the area of
Drives and Control.FDP intendsto develop awareness among faculties regardi
ng the significance of Modern trends in modelling\, simulation and control
of complex systems for various new generation applications. It will provid
e an in-depth understanding of design and analysis of models and demonstra
te their applications in real world problems. In order to maximize the indu
strial efficiency\, new technologies for drive systems\, advanced control
techniques and power electronic modulatorsare to be incorporated in system
designto reduce operating cost and to improve quality of services. The pur
pose of this FDP is to bring together experts and academic researchersand
provide a platform for discussion on recent research avenues in drives and
control. Basic concepts with directions for further research will be disc
ussed
