DESCRIPTION:<p>Rajasthan is immerging as one of the important investment de
 stination for agriculture and agro-based activties\, manufacturing industr
 ies and tourism economy. The state of attracting investments worth Rs 4000
  Crores in various investment and industrial zones spread across east to w
 est and north to south generating direct and indirect employment of 17\,00
 0 workplaces. With a share of 11.5 billion as net state domestic product (
 NSDP)\, Rajasthan has joined the list of 10-best states in the country.<br
  />\n<br />\nIn spite of sustained economic progress\, state remains heavi
 ly dependent on agriculture as 22.5% of state economy generates from this 
 sector. At present industrial sector accounts for 32.5% of NSDP be it ceme
 nt\, salt\, textile\, stone\, leather and footwear\, steel and petro-chemi
 cal. However industrial sector is getting added attention by the present G
 overnment which require sustained development of energy\, infrastructure\,
  telecommunications\, agro-processing and special economic zones (SEZ).</p
