A great deal of research is going on in Artificial Neural Ne twork worldwide. It plays a major role in solving complex real world appli cation scenarios. Artificial Neural Networks have been developed as genera lization of mathematical models of biological nervous systems. Neural Netw orks are employed to solve problems of non-linear regression\, optimizatio n\, etc. in the field of Electrical system\, Control system\, Biomedical i mage and signal processing. Keeping in view the necessity of Neural Networ k Applications\, this workshop is organized to acquaint the participants w ith different Scientific Research Methods and Techniques to help them faci litate better decisions and initiate appropriate action programs and inter ventions. The scope of this programme is to make a brief introduction to m odels of networks\, for then describing in general terms ANNs. As an appli cation\, we explain and start with the Back Propagation (BPN) and Radial B asis Function (RBFN) algorithm\, since it is widely used and many other al gorithms are derived from it. Next\, the tuning free algorithm namely Extr eme Learning Machine (ELM) will be covered with prediction and classificat ion applications. Also\, a Novel online sequential learning ELM algorithm will be discussed and hands on training will be provided. Moreover\, the s tate of the art\, fast learning algorithm in the complex valued domain wil l also be explained and its ability to learn complex valued data will be d emonstrated. Thus this workshop will enable the Research scholars\, UG/PG students and other academicians to gain thorough knowledge on the implemen tation of these Neural Network techniques using MATLAB.
