The Department of Automobile Engineering\, Kongu Engineering College (Autonomous)\, in association with IIPC\, KEC–Perundurai\, is o rganizing a One-Day Training Programme on “Automotive Power Electronics and Battery Pack Modelling using MATLAB” on 21 November 2026 (Saturday) from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
The programme aims to provide students and faculty members with hands-on experience in modelling and simulating autom otive power electronics and battery pack systems using MATLAB. The trainin g covers automotive power electronics\, power converter modelling\, rectif ier and inverter modelling\, and battery modelling from cell to pack level .
The registration fee\, inclusive of GST\, is ₹500 for students a nd ₹750 for faculty members. The programme supports UN Sustainable Devel opment Goals SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy)\, SDG 9 (Industry\, Innov ation and Infrastructure)\, and SDG 13 (Climate Action)\, promoting sustai nable electric vehicle technology and green mobility.
