The main objective of the workshop is to motivate the partic ipants to aim on advancements in Industrial Robotics- The Future. An indus trial robot commonly refers to a robot arm used in a factory environment f or manufacturing applications. Traditional industrial robots can be classi fied according to different criteria such as type of movement (degrees of freedom)\,application (manufacturing process)\, architecture (serial or pa rallel) and brand. These robotic arms can have a multitude of sensors and vision systems capable of viewing images to aid with their computer-based control. Industrial robots and automation are an important part of the man ufacturing of most products produced in today’s world. This workshop aim s to travel around with the recent growth and development on Industrial Ro botics. The hands-on session will be an 'eye-opener' to all the participan ts which can bring out the computational skills which is required for Indu strial Robotics to implement in their project related activities.
