 challenge for millions across the globe\, impacting both ecosystems and ag
 riculture. The shortage of fresh water has direct and indirect effects on 
 several cities. The inadequate infrastructure and unregulated water pollut
 ion contribute significantly to this issue. Several treatment technologies
  such as membrane-based technology offer a solution by converting brackish
  water into freshwater\, suitable for both industrial and public consumpti
 on. This technology is versatile and can also be employed to convert river
  water or wastewater into freshwater\, addressing the fact that approximat
 ely 80 percent of domestically used water ends up as wastewater in water b
