In the present competitive era\, every Higher Education Inst itution is aware and understands the need to promote\, stimulate\, and fac ilitate research and development activities to lay a strong foundation and register growth in the creation\, preservation\, and promotion of knowled ge\, research\, collaboration\, and establishment links with Government Ag encies\, Public Sector undertakings\, Industries\, National – Internatio nal Agencies as well as other social organization to establish itself as a n Institution of excellence in management education and research. The prin cipal objective of the faculty development program on Research Funded Proj ects and Consultancy Projects is to disseminate knowledge on processes and promote research in all Management and social sciences branches. This FDP strives to achieve excellence in drafting research proposals\, undertakin g consultancy\, and instilling a spirit of collaborative and interdiscipli nary research in the delegates.

\nP. V igneswara Ilavarasan (PhD - IIT Kanpur) is Abdulaziz Alsagar Chair Profess or at the Dept. of Management Studies\, Indian Institute of Technology Del hi. He is Professor-in-Charge of University of Queensland &\; IIT Delhi Research Academy which has more than 100 PhD students. Prof Ilavarasan re searches and teaches about the interaction of information and communicatio n technologies (ICTs)\, society &\; and business. He is one of the top 2% cited scholars in the world in 2022\, 2023 as per the Elsevier &\; S tanford study. He has been a Visiting Research Fellow at the United Nation s University (Macau)\, Curtin University\, and the University of Queenslan d. He is a recipient of the Outstanding Young Faculty Fellowship Award at IIT Delhi\, and Prof. M.N. Srinivas Memorial Prize of the Indian Sociologi cal Society. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at LIRNEasia\, a leading regional ICT policy and regulation think tank. He has received significant research grants of Rs 3.2 crores as a principal investigator and Rs 10 cr ores as Co-principal investigator from Dept of Science &\; Technology ( Govt of India)\, ICSSR (India)\, IDRC (Canada)\, Oxford Analytica (UK)\, I PTS (European Commission)\, CIPPEC (Argentina) and IdeaCorp (Philippines). He is currently a Section Editor of Society &\; Politics\, Heliyon (El sevier &\; Cell Press). His research has appeared in all the leading in ternational journals and conferences of repute.
