DESCRIPTION:<p>Data mining is a collection of techniques for efficient disc
 overy of understandable and interesting patterns through large databases. 
 The patterns may be used in an enterprise’s decision making process. Dif
 ferent kinds of techniques and methods are needed to find different kinds 
 of patterns. Data mining tasks can be classified into summarization\, clas
 sification\, clustering\, association\, sequence discovery and trend analy
 sis. Today\, data mining is used in a wide area of applications in busines
 s and in science. This workshop aims to bring together researchers with th
 e objectives to present data mining tools and exchange ideas on how to pro
 mote the use of tools in the field of data mining. The participants will h
 ave hands-on experience in tools like WEKA\, R and MATLAB which are used i
 n data mining research and development. The workshop is intended to help f
 aculty members\, research scholars and professionals working in industry i
 n sharpening their skills through data mining tools.</p>
