Blockchain is a leading software platform for digital assets . It is a data structure used to create a decentralized ledger and is comp osed of blocks in a serialized manner. A block contains a set of transacti ons\, a hash of the previous block\, timestamp\, block reward\, block numb er\, and so on. Every block contains a hash of the previous block\, thus c reating a chain of blocks linked with each other. Every node in the networ k holds a copy of the blockchain. There are different consensus protocols based on Proof-of-work\, proof-of-stake\, etc. This technology is implemen ted in various real-time applications. Cryptocurrencies\, in particular th e First and well-known Bitcoin and others such as Ethereum\, are canonical examples of the blockchain paradigm. Few other real-time applications inc lude digital identity\, smart contracts\, digital voting\, and IoT applica tions. This workshop is planned by considering the growing importance of Bl ockchain Technology in real world applications. Characteristics of permiss ioned blockchains are significantly different from permission-less blockch ains. Main theme of this workshop will be permissioned blockchains. The wo rkshop will have invited talks from reputed academicians and practitioners .
