XLRI Jamshedpur\, XX December 2014: Marketing Association at XLRI Jamshedpur (MAXI) is organizing the 36th edition of Maxi Fair\, the annual disguised Market and Consumer Behavior Research Fair.
Every year major corporates like HUL\, ITC\, Star TV and Airtel partner with the Marketing Association to conduct research on more than six thousand plus attendees of the fair. The research is conducted through elaborate games d esigned by students of XLRI.
The concept of the fair was pioneered b y Sharad Sarin - senior XLRI faculty- in 1979. Since then the fair gives s tudents a hands on opportunity to learn market research fundamentals and come up with marketing insights on live problems handed over by partner br ands and corporates. Apart from the market research games\, Maxi fair also includes recreational activities for youngsters like paintball\, zorbing\ , video games\, merry go round\, fancy dress competition etc. Among all th e fun and frolic attendees purchase exotic handicrafts and devour mouth-wa tering delicacies at the food stalls.
The fair will be held on 17th and 18th January 2015 at the XLRI campus ground. Participation for the fai r is expected to surpass last year’s Six Thousand thus making Maxi Fair one of the biggest marketing event in the B-school circuits.
