How many times have you been told that superheroes only exis ts in fiction and that love happens only in movies? How many times people have tried bringing you back to reality \, trying to explain that song lyr ics are not relatable to life and that TV show characters cant resemble an y real person in your life.. This year let’s prove them wrong.
\n\nDo what you will\, this world’s a fiction and is made up of contra dictions. We believe that it’s only under the mask of fiction that you c an tell the truth. Research maintains that our minds have many levels\, ye t\, for the most part we utilize very little. Sure it’s said some can mo ve things by kinetic energy\, or “know” the future. We believe this to be fact\, because we’ve seen it. I recognize it’s hard to believe\, i f you’ve never seen. People argue that fiction is a fragment of one’s imagination but in our defense so is reality. As put in the words of Albus Dumbledore from Harry Potter :
\n
\nTell me one last thing\,” said Harry. “Is this real? Or has this been happening inside my head? ”
\n
\nDumbledore beamed at him\, and his voice sounded loud a nd strong in Harry’s ears even though the bright mist was descending aga in\, obscuring his figure.
\n
\n“Of course it is happening ins ide your head\, Harry\, but why on earth should that mean that it is not r eal?”
\n
\nKIIT Fest is the annual social and techno-cultural festival of KIIT University. Its a defining platform for the students and artists to showcase their skills and develop their potential. It is the fi rst and the largest of its kind in east India and hopes to carve a niche f or itself in the country. The fest is organized over 25 sq. km. area campu s accommodating 22 world class campuses. More than 25\,000 students enroll ed into 100 different academic programs of KIIT group participate in the f est along with students from different parts of the country having diverse background\, nationalities and culture.
\nKIIT fest provides you an opportunity to let your imagination run wild and enjoy the extravaganza th is March. It has workshops for the inquisitive minds\, competitive debate\ , dance\, drama and quizzing events for the artists and unwinding cultural shows for the freewheelers. We invite you to come be part of our dream. Y ou might have to follow the rules though. As quoted in the Leonardo Capri starrer Inception :
\n
\nSaito: A dream within a dream. I’m im pressed. But in my dream\, you play by my rules.
\nNash: Ah\, yes\, b ut you see\, Mr. Saito…
\nCobb: We’re not in your dream.
\nN ash: We’re in mine.
\n
\nKIIT fest celebrates the true spirit of youth through a perfect blend of fun and learning\, competition and exc itement and techno-cultural events with underlying social theme. Spread ov er three days\, it creates a technically and culturally simulating environ ment for the exchange of ideas and visions. It’s an opportunity to turn your imagination into reality.
\n
\nWell that’s what a descrip tion would be like but KIIT fest is much more than that. Following the bel iefs of our superheroes we love and believe in\, we go by the principle th at SOMETIMES THE TRUTH ISN’T GOOD ENOUGH\, SOMETIMES PEOPLE DESERVE MORE . SOMETIMES PEOPLE DESERVE TO HAVE THEIR FAITH REWARDED !
\nSimply pu t in the words of Don Corleone from The Godfather- “ We’re gonna make you an offer you can’t refuse”
