 is a <strong>24-hour offline hackathon</strong> organized by the <stron
 g>Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering &amp\; Electroni
 cs Engineering (VLSI Design &amp\; Technology)\, S.A. Engineering College\
 , Chennai-77</strong>.</p>\n\n<p>The hackathon brings together engineering
  students to transform ideas into practical solutions through innovation\,
  technical skills\, problem-solving and teamwork.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Date:<
 /strong> October 8 &amp\; 9\, 2026<br />\n<strong>Duration:</strong> 24

 2>Eligibility</h2>\n\n<p>• Open to engineering students from colleges/in
 stitutions.<br />\n• Each team must have <strong>2–4 members</strong>
 .<br />\n• <strong>Inter-college teams are not allowed</strong>\; all m
 embers must belong to the same institution.<br />\n• Inter-department / 
 inter-specialization teams within the same institution are allowed.<br />\
 n• Each participant can register with only one team.</p>\n\n<h2>Tracks</
 h2>\n\n<p><strong>Hardware Track:</strong> Electronics\, embedded systems
 \, IoT\, automation\, robotics and related technologies. Hardware Problem 
 Statements will be released <strong>one day before the hackathon</strong>
 . Participants must bring their own required components and equipment.</p>
 \n\n<p><strong>Software Track:</strong> Software development\, web/mobile
  applications\, AI/ML\, automation\, cybersecurity and related technologie
 s.</p>\n\n<p>Only <strong>one track</strong> can be selected per team. P
 rojects must be relevant to the selected track. Opposite-track projects wi
 ll not be considered.</p>\n\n<h2>Open Innovation — Initial Screening</h2
 >\n\n<p>Teams must submit an <strong>Open Innovation Project Proposal</st
 rong> consisting of:</p>\n\n<p>• Project Title<br />\n• Brief Project
  Description<br />\n• Selected Track<br />\n• Open Innovation PPT (<st
 rong>maximum 6 slides</strong>)</p>\n\n<p>The proposal will be used for th
 e <strong>initial screening and shortlisting</strong> of teams. Submissi
 on does not guarantee selection.</p>\n\n<h2>Registration Fee</h2>\n\n<p><s
 trong>Initial registration is free.</strong></p>\n\n<p>A <strong>₹1\,00
 0 registration fee per team</strong> will be applicable only to <strong>
 shortlisted teams after selection and confirmation</strong> of participat
 ion in the offline hackathon.</p>\n\n<h2>Hackathon Format</h2>\n\n<p>• T
 he hackathon will be conducted for <strong>24 hours</strong>.<br />\n• 
 Selected teams will work on the designated Problem Statement for their cho
 sen track.<br />\n• The event will include <strong>three evaluation sta
 ges</strong>.<br />\n• Teams will be evaluated on problem understanding\
 , innovation\, technical implementation\, functionality\, feasibility\, pr
 esentation and overall impact.<br />\n• Teams must complete and demonstr
 ate their solution within the allotted time.</p>\n\n<h2>Rules</h2>\n\n<ol>
 \n	<li>Each team must have 2–4 members.</li>\n	<li>All members must belo
 ng to the same college/institution.</li>\n	<li>Inter-college teams are not
  permitted.</li>\n	<li>Inter-department / inter-specialization teams are a
 llowed within the same institution.</li>\n	<li>Each participant can regist
 er with only one team.</li>\n	<li>Each team can select only one track.</li
 >\n	<li>Teams must complete their solution within the 24-hour duration.</l
 i>\n	<li>Teams must present and demonstrate their solution during the eval
 uation rounds.</li>\n	<li>Plagiarism\, copying\, cheating\, impersonation 
 or submission of another team's work will result in disqualification.</li>
 \n	<li>Hardware Track participants are responsible for bringing and safely
  handling their own components and equipment.</li>\n	<li>Participants must
  follow the instructions and regulations of the organizing committee and S
 .A. Engineering College.</li>\n	<li>The decision of the judging panel and 
 organizing committee will be final.</li>\n</ol>\n\n<h2>Selection Process</
