DESCRIPTION:<p>Optimal and secure operation of Power System is of importanc
 e in the context of energy crisis. Power System Dynamics plays a major rol
 e on the integrity of the power system following a major disturbance. The 
 Power System Dynamics is well characterized by Power System Stability and 
 the associated control techniques. Understanding the dynamic models of pow
 er system components and the control techniques is imperative to determine
  system transients and small signal stability. Moreover\, with a rapid inc
 rease in distributed generation and smart grid initiatives\, influence of 
 renewable energy sources on power system dynamics has gained a much signif
 icance. This two-day workshop will cover all the aspects of power system d
 ynamics from the stability and control perspective.</p>
