DESCRIPTION:<p>There is an increasing realization the world over that deve
 lopment in its truest sense can only take place when economic growth fost
 ers sustainable development. Over the last century the burning of fossil 
 fuels like coal and oil has increased the concentration of atmospheric ca
 rbon dioxide (CO ) which has lead to a drastic climatic change. Effective
  2 technologies are being explored not only to alleviate the CO2 emissio
 ns but also to utilize CO for the production of other 2 fuels. The use of
  renewable energy sources and sustainable development are two separate va
 riables that are interconnected. The major potential barrier involved in 
 these green energy sources are its intermittent output power and load co
 mpatibility. Thanks to the advanced control schemes and modern power elec
 tronic regulators and increased conversion efficiency\, power maximizatio
 n from renewable sources are possible. Energy conservation and sustainab
 le development can also be achieved through non-conventional and novel pr
 actices. For example\, Nondestructive testing (NDT) is the process of in
 specting\, testing\, or evaluating materials\, components or assemblies f
 or discontinuities\, or differences in characteristics without destroying
  the serviceability of the part or system. In all\, Sustainable evelopmen
 t has a multidisciplinary perspective. So\, there is an urgent need to b
 ring together researchers and scholars from various streams to bring abou
 t a lasting change. This international  workshop on “International wor
 kshop on Access to Affordable Clean Energy to Humanity“ is not only aim
 ed at bringing the multidisciplinary researchers under one umbrella but a
 lso to exchange ideas\, forge new connections to extend and develop part
 nerships between the researchers from India\, Canada and other Countries.
