The 1st International Conference on Energy and Environment Engineering (ICEEE 2014)\,will be organized by Department of Petrochemical Technology\, Anna University-BIT Campus\, Trichy has the main target of j oining academics\, researchers\, engineers\, consultants and companies fro m the Energy and Environment Sectors\, in order to interchange experiences \, present advances and new projects about the rational and efficient use of Energy and the Energetic Conversion Systems\, and also to analyze the d ifferent solutions focused on the reduction of the impact caused by energe tic systems on the environment and the environment preservation\, concerni ng other activity sectors and society. This Conference attempts to contrib ute to reaching a sustainable development in our countries. In order to re ach this purpose\, in ICEEE 2014 will take place not only all the research topics and development works concerning Energy and Environmental Engineer ing and Management\, but also those belonging to areas closely related to these two disciplines. According to this philosophy\, the Conference has b een structured into six different scientific areas\, in which all the comm unications will be distributed depending on the following items:

\nAuthors can chose to present their work as Oral or Pos ter presentation. Authors should submit a one page Abstract of the work. A fter Abstract acceptance an extended abstract should be submitted (four pa ges). All Abstracts will be published in the Conference Abstracts E-Book. The best works will have the possibility of being published in Internation al Journals of Energy - Elsevier (subject to standard revision process).
