 r has a distinctassociation with PWD\, Highways Department\, TWAD\, SERC\,
  CMRL\, URC\, Kesthana Infrastructures\, Chennai Port Trust\, Metro Water
 \, L&amp\;T\, Utracon Structural Systems and Langdonesaeah. The departmen
 t regularly conducts national &amp\; international seminars\, conferences\
 , workshops\, FDPs to keep the faculty and students updated on the trends
  and latest research areas in the field of Civil Engineering. Ever since 
 its inception\, the department has been providing induction and orientati
 on on the opportunities available in various PSUs. This has paid rich div
 idends as may alumni have been well placed in prestigious PSUs.<br />\nA n
 umber of our brilliant students have successfully completed their research
  in IITs and in Universities abroad while a good number are exemplary en
 trepreneurs.</p>
