Increasing energy demand led to development of renewable ene rgy sources.Among the various renewable energy sources\, the Installed cap acity of wind mills is around 20 GW and Solar PV systems is around 10GW in India. The government of India has planned to achieve 60GW from Wind and 100 GW from Solar by 2022. DC generation and distribution system has very attractive technology for integration of renewable energy systems. This wo rkshop provides an insight to the renewable energy scenario in India\, ren ewable generation integration\, energy storage systems\, integrated contro llers and energy management systems\, power quality issues and low voltage DC distribution systems.This workshop will be useful for under graduate s tudents\, post graduatestudents\, research scholars\, faculty members and practicing engineers.
