This workshop aims to provide the thorough knowledge in tot al station. In recent years\, total station has replaced the traditional s urveying instruments such as theodolite and dumpy levels as it gives direc tly the three-dimensional coordinates of surveyed points which forms the f undamental data in preparation of contour maps\, layout maps of buildings\ , roads\, etc. This workshop gives hands on training in total station whic h will be more helpful for the Students\, Faculty members and Research sch olars to enrich their knowledge in the field of surveying and to understan d the concepts of total station and its benefits in the real field of Civi l Engineering. At the end\, the participants will be well prepared to use it for any kind of survey work in civil engineering field.
