SUMMARY:In-Bloom 2017
LOCATION:CHRIST (Deemed to be University)\, Bengaluru
DESCRIPTION:<p>In-Bloom is a national-level cultural festival organised ann
ually by Christ University\, Bengaluru. It features stage\, art\, literary
\, and theatre events. In-Bloom aims to provide a platform for students fr
om institutions across the country to channelise their creativity\, sharpe
n their minds\, and exhibit their talents within an atmosphere of amity an
d celebration.<br />\n<br />\nThe arts are a defining mark of the human ra
ce\; they distinguish us from all other creatures and bring us closer to d
ivinity. While buildings and bridges\, towers and towns signal the dawn of
a civilisation\, its zenith comes with the flourishing of the arts. The p
lethora of arts - the melody of music\, the texture of written text\, the
display of dance and drama\, and the spectacle of sketches and paintings -
signifies the highest expression of human creativity. The theme for In-Bl
oom this year celebrates this facet of human life - one which fills our wo
rld with colour and meaning - the evolution of art forms from the origin\,
the wonderful growth\, and the abundance that is yet to come.</p>
