 ost complex molecules of life. Using Genetic Engineering\, it is now pos
 sible to produce recombinant proteins with higher stability and activity.
  Such an approach has been used to produce several recombinant proteins 
 such as insulin\, growth hormone\, blood clotting factors\, and enzymes.
  Generally\, recombinant proteins are purified using nickel affinity<br 
 />\nchromatography. The aim of the training program is to offer life scie
 nce students hands on training in protein extraction and purification. <
