DESCRIPTION:<p>“The IIT Ropar National Workshop on Design and Advertising
 ” is a platform for the exploration of Ad-Making and Design from the van
 tage point of Humanities\, Management\, and Psychology. The workshop will 
 focus on and promote the creative side of ad-making. It gives special emph
 asis to the psychoanalytic and psychological dynamics behind ad-making. We
  shall discuss\, through interactive lectures\, how to develop ideas for a
 dvertisements and how to convert these ideas into effective commercials. T
 his will be supplemented by another set of talks on theories\, tools\, his
 tory\, evolution and relevant case studies in advertising. The workshop al
 so includes a creative ad-making competition among the teams participating
  in the workshop.</p>
