DESCRIPTION:<p>This interactive hands-on session is designed for UG/PG stud
 ents to explore the fascinating world of Computer Vision and Image Process
 ing. The session begins with the fundamental concepts of signals\, images\
 , and sensors\, building a strong foundation in how digital images are for
 med\, represented\, and processed. • Students will then be introduced to
  basic image processing operations such as filtering\, enhancement\, edge 
 detection\, and feature extraction\, all demonstrated through live coding 
 examples in Python and OpenCV. • This hands-on workshop will further bri
 dge theory to practice by highlighting how these techniques power real-wor
 ld applications such as face detection\, surveillance\, biomedical imaging
 \, autonomous vehicles\, robotics\, and smart IoT devices. • Special emp
 hasis will be placed on the ECE/EEE perspective—understanding images as 
 2D signals\, hardware aspects of sensors\, and the importance of computati
 onal efficiency in embedded vision systems.</p>
