DESCRIPTION:<p>Nanotechnology plays an important role in the development of
  biosensors. The sensitivity and performance of biosensors are improved by
  using nanomaterials through new signal transduction technologies. The dev
 elopment of tools and processes used to fabricate\, measure and image nano
 scale objects has led to the development of sensors that interact with ext
 remely small molecules need to be analyzed. Nano biosensor research focuse
 s on developing innovative technologies that have the ability to make sign
 ificant contributions in the areas of human and animal disease. The emerge
 nce of nanotechnology has opened up new horizons for the development of na
 nosensors and nanoprobes with submicron-sized dimensions that are suitable
  for intra cellular measurements. New nanomaterials and nanostructures nee
 d to be explored for use in biosensors. Preferably biosensors should be in
 tegrated within tiny biochips with on-board electronics\, which leads to t
 he development of wide range of nanobiosensors in the past two decades. Th
 is seminar addresses the futuristic goal of low-cost\, high throughput\, m
 ultiplexed clinical diagnostic lab-on-a-chip devices through following key
  topics.</p>
