Utkarsh is the HR Club of DSIMS serving as a platform to lea rn the various aspects of HR and how HR can serve as a strategy formulator and drive the company’s strategic plans. The students of Durgadevi Sara f Institute of Management Studies organizes HR Conclave and intercollegiat e event HRanbhoomi at their campus. The event invites senior corporate pro fessionals\, academicians and management participants from top notch B-Sch ools to be a part of it and make it a great success.
\nThe First hal f of the event is the panel discussion on the theme: “Redefining HR to e nhance organisational effectiveness”
\nThe process of Redefining H uman Resources requires a commitment to the journey of change. There are n umerous obstacles and perils on this journey but the opportunities for rev ival and future success are well worth the risk. As we establish the impor tance of HR’s strategic role in supporting the business\, the approach t owards HR transformation must be redefined. A transformation begins with u nderstanding both the execution expectations and the strategic requirement s of the business. This is the main differentiator of the new approach str ategically thinking with the end in mind\, engaging the business up-front to identify the main business drivers behind the transformation\, and ensu ring business leadership commitment and support for the transformation.
\nThe second half of the full day event “ HRanbhoomi” includes few management games where we test the team management skills\, leadership qua lities and many more. Management Games are Creative and Mindful expression of Human spirit which comes out through the creation of activity that has an entertaining\, flexible\, instructive and competing element. HRanbhoom i explores and test participant’s skills\, efforts and invites them to d evelop new ways and managing the obstacles which stops them for attaining the goals. It would also provide an opportunity which would help them incr ease their capabilities and guide them to develop a better understanding o f their own selves.
