DESCRIPTION:<p>Primary objective of this FDP is to give an exposure on ongo
 ing research in Photonic Devices and their applications also hands on trai
 ning.<br />\nDuring this program our focus is on the basics of Photonics\,
  Photonic Crystal (1D\,2D)\, silicon waveguides/sensors/devices\, free spa
 ce optics (FSO)\, Nano Photonics\, and Fiber Bragg Gratings.<br />\nTo dev
 elop skills to utilize equipment\, software\, etc. for better understandin
 g of different phenomena and challenges of photonics technology through th
 e interaction with experts/ faculties/ scientist.<br />\nThis program can 
 serve as an excellent platform to get the concepts of both basics and rece
 nt developments in photonics technologies\, to the teaching and research c
 ommunity associated with the departments of Electronics and Electrical tec
 hnology\, Physics\, Computer Science\, etc.</p>
