DESCRIPTION:<p>Network Simulator version 2 (NS-2) is a free and open source
  discrete event network simulator developed at UC Berkeley. It is simply a
 n event driven simulation tool that has proved useful in studying the dyna
 mic nature of communication networks. It covers a large part of applicatio
 ns\, protocols\, network types\, network elements and traffic models. Undo
 ubtedly\, NS2 has become the most widely used open source network simulato
 r\, and one of the most widely used network simulators. This faculty devel
 opment programme aims to provide an insight into simulation of Mobile Ad-h
