DESCRIPTION:<p>‘Make in India’ is an initiative launched by the Governm
 ent of India\, with an objective of attracting capital and technological i
 nvestment and increase manufacturing in India by the multi-national and na
 tional corporates to improve the Indian economy. India is one of the faste
 st growing major economies in the world. Make in India initiative facilita
 tes the top investors a conducive ecosystem to come to India and invest in
  businesses. FDI policy and procedures have been simplified and liberalize
 d progressively. Key sectors that have been opened up for FDI include Defe
 nce Manufacturing\, Food Processing\, Telecommunications\, Agriculture\, P
 harmaceuticals\, Civil Aviation\, Space\, Insurance and Pensions and Medic
 al equipment. Manufacturing currently contributes just over 15% to the nat
 ional GDP. The aim of this initiative is to grow this to a 25% contributio
 n as comparable with other developing Asian Economies. In the process\, th
 e government expects to generate jobs\, attract increased foreign direct i
 nvestment\, and transform India into a manufacturing hub preferred around 
 the globe. . In order to attract foreign capital\, there huge changes have
  been made in the defence manufacturing and insurance sectors\, however ac
 cording to analysts lot more needs to be done in a very effective manner. 
 India is a country with a unique combination of demography\, democracy\, a
 nd demand which can benefit the investors.</p>
