 2>About the Event</h2><p>ElectroNova 2026 is a 24-hour hands-on ha
 rdware hackathon organized by the Department of Electronics and C
 ommunication Engineering at E.G.S. Pillay Engineering College. The
  event challenges students to transform innovative ideas into fun
 ctional hardware prototypes through circuit design\, embedded progr
 amming\, testing\, and real-time debugging.</p><p>Open to undergradu
 ate and postgraduate students from all engineering branches and c
 olleges\, ElectroNova provides a platform to explore emerging tech
 nologies\, collaborate with peers\, solve real-world problems\, and
  demonstrate practical engineering skills.</p><p><strong>Bring your

  Tracks</h2><p>Participants can choose one of the following six t
 racks:</p><ol><li><strong>IoT &amp\; IIoT</strong> – Smart devices\
 , connected sensors\, industrial monitoring\, and automation.</li><l
 i><strong>5G/6G &amp\; Wireless Communication</strong> – Wireless 
 networks\, communication systems\, and next-generation connectivity.<
 /li><li><strong>Embedded Systems &amp\; Robotics</strong> – Microco
 ntroller-based systems\, robotics\, sensing\, and automation.</li><li
 ><strong>Digital Systems &amp\; VLSI</strong> – Digital design\, 
 FPGA implementation\, RTL\, and verification.</li><li><strong>Biomedic
 al &amp\; Wearable Devices</strong> – Healthcare monitoring\, ass
 istive technologies\, and wearable electronics.</li><li><strong>Open 
 Innovation</strong> – Hardware solutions addressing real-world cha
 llenges from everyday life\, campuses\, or industries.</li></ol><h2>
 Selection Process</h2><ul><li><strong>Phase 1 – Idea Abstract Subm
 ission:</strong> Submit a PDF outlining the problem statement\, pr
 oposed solution\, technology stack\, and design concept. The top 
 40 teams will be shortlisted.</li><li><strong>Phase 2 – Online P
 itch &amp\; Technical Review:</strong> Shortlisted teams present th
 eir initial build\, architecture\, and prototype workflow. The top
  20 teams advance.</li><li><strong>Phase 3 – On-Campus Grand Fin
 ale:</strong> Finalists build\, test\, and demonstrate their workin
 g prototypes during the 24-hour hackathon.</li></ul><h2>Prizes and 
 Recognition</h2><ul><li><strong>Winner:</strong> ₹10\,000</li><li><stro
 ng>Runner-up:</strong> ₹7\,500</li><li>Internship interview opportuni
 ty with industry partners for the winning team.</li><li>Certificate

 l><h2>Eligibility and Team Rules</h2><ul><li>Open to UG and PG stu
 dents with a valid college ID.</li><li>Each team must have 2–4
  members.</li><li>Inter-college and inter-branch teams are permitted
 .</li><li>Each team can participate in one track.</li><li>Pre-built
  models and plagiarized concepts are not permitted. Development a
