SUMMARY:DRDO ARMREB Seminar 2019
LOCATION:Hindusthan Institute of Technology\, Coimbatore
DESCRIPTION:<p>The Indian military\, and therefore\, the Indian Army\, find
s itself at a historical inflection point\, where disparate\, yet related
elements of the Operational Environment (OE) are converging\, creating a s
ituation where fast moving trends across the Diplomatic\, Information\, Mi
litary\, and Economic (DIME) spheres are rapidly transforming the nature o
f all aspects of society and human life – including the character of war
fare. It is important to the future of the Indian military to take a holis
tic and heuristic approach to projecting and anticipating both transformat
ional and enduring trends that will lend them to the depiction of the futu
re. This seminar describes the implication on the future of warfare throug
 h 2050.</p>
