DESCRIPTION:<p>A Death Race\, testing the all-round performance of a bot in
  terms of robustness\, power\, speed and manoeuvrability. A timed event wi
 th faster and better bots proceeding to further rounds.<br />\n<br />\nOBJ
 ECTIVE:<br />\n• The objective of this contest is to race with your comp
 etitors while avoiding the obstacles.<br />\n<br />\nGENERAL RULES:<br />\
 n<br />\n• All participants must bring their own Robots.<br />\n• All 
 robots will have to pass an inspection prior to the competition.<br />\n
 • During the rounds\, maximum of two members are allowed in the arena. O
 ne to control the bot and the other to guide it. However\, teams are allow
 ed to switch members in different rounds.<br />\n• It is mandatory for t
 he participants to have an identity card of the institution they belong to
 .<br />\n• Readymade robots\, toys or kits are not allowed.<br />\n• I
 f the robot is stuck in an obstacle or moves out of the track\, then the r
 obot has to start from the last checkpoint.<br />\n<br />\nEVENT ROUNDS<br
  />\n<br />\n1. The race will consist of two rounds.<br />\n<br />\n(a) An
  obstacle path which will test the sturdiness of the vehicle and presence 
 of mind of the driver.<br />\n<br />\n(b) A drag race which will test the 
 speed and acceleration of the vehicle against another vehicle.<br />\n<br 
 />\n2) The track for the drag race will be a long straight path.<br />\n<b
 r />\nThe obstacle path will be uneven and will consist of bends and curve
 s<br />\n<br />\n<br />\nBOT SPECIFICATIONS<br />\n<br />\n• The dimensi
 ons of the robot must not be more than (25x25x25) cm<br />\n<br />\n• Th
 e vehicle can be wired or wireless robot.<br />\n<br />\n• The power sup
 plied should not be more than 12V at two points.<br />\n<br />\n• DC Pow
 er supply should be used for the robots.<br />\n<br />\n• For wireless m
 echanism the teams are advised to have a dual frequency remote control to 
 prevent radio conflicts.<br />\n<br />\n• Maximum weight of the robot sh
 ould be 5 kg including the batteries. But they can make use of readymade g
 ear assemblies. Violating this clause will lead to disqualification of the
  team.</p>
