DESCRIPTION:<p>Objective of this workshop is to guide early and mid-career 
 researchers how to go about publishing research in a scholarly journal. Th
 e workshop will address some of these issues and serve as a forum for stud
 ents to interact and exchange notes on their ongoing work. It seeks to exp
 ose research scholars to a) an understanding of categories like method\, m
 ethodology and theoretical perspectives and the differences b) critical pe
 rspectives on assumptions underlying dominant strands of research c) the i
 dea of validity of method in positivist and interpretivist frameworks and 
 d) recent developments in the philosophy of social science research.</p>
