OBJECTIVEBlock chain at its basics is a founding pillar of crypto currencytransactions, which have become essential to digital markets. Through their secure and borderless nature, paying with crypto allows businesses to attract customers from other countries, enabling the digital economy to scale quicker and easier. Blockchainis one of the highly disruptive technologies of this century that promises direct value exchange over the internet. It is a decentralized technology or distributed ledger on which transactions are anonymously recorded and operated on a consensus model forvalidation. Blockchain can be public, consortium, or private. The much talked about crypto currency, Bit coin, owes its origin to this technology.This workshopaims at bringing together the blockchain technologists, enthusiasts, faculty and students to discuss the algorithms, applications and issues concerned with the technology.
