About Event
NAALAM, the cultural extravaganza of NUALS Kochi, is now in its 5th year, and it is about to be bigger than ever! NAALAM 2014 follows successful and unforgettable past outings of the NUALS community, celebrating culture and art, in all forms. In previous years, NAALAM has already had spectuclar performances by amazing bands like The Lightyears Explode, The Down Troddence and others. NAALAM is often viewed as a launchpad for semi-pro and newly pro bands to bag a big break and bite into the exponentially growing Indian music scene. Not just the pro show, but the western band event too has had bands like The Black Letters and Rocazauras perform, which are now immediately recognised by the avid music listener.Also, negotiations are on and almost at a stage of completion for the next pro show, for which NAALAM is speaking with Benny Dayal, Skrat, Thaikkudam Bridge and Agam, all of whom need no introduction. Hence, NAALAM'14 promises to unravel and keep in awe every one who comes!

Being held on 2nd and 3rd March 2014, NAALAM 14 guarantees to knock your socks off with its wide and exciting array of events, and the ever awaited Pro-show, featuring yet another amazing performance by an incredible band. Prizes worth Rs. 1.8 lakh are being handed out; so come, Sear Your Name in the Sierra of Flair.
