Antarang 2014 is an annual festival organized in February by the students and staff of K.J. Somaiya College of Physiotherapy located a t Sion\,Mumbai.
\nThis year the theme for our fest is 'Health and Fit ness'. We are aiming at continuing physiotherapy awareness by screening fo r risk factors such as obesity\, osteoporosis\, diabetes\, peripheral neur opathy and hypertension. We are also going to have workshops on first aid and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). This year we are organizing a 'W alkathon' to spread awareness about 'Silent Killers' such as Obesity\, Dia betes and Hypertension and coming up with an annual magazine called 'Xpres sions' which includes articles about physiotherapy awareness programs\, pr otocols of fitness and articles written by students\, doctors and staff wh ich will be widely distributed among students\, doctors\, guests from med ical as well as non-medical institutions and patients. Antarang covers 4 d ays of stage events such as inauguration\, academic events\, cultural and sports events and fun-n-fair.
