SUMMARY:AN INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON COMPUTATIONAL INTELLIGENCE: THEORIES\,
 APPLICATIONS AND FUTURE DIRECTION
LOCATION:SRM University\, Chennai
DESCRIPTION:
Computational intelligence (CI) is a set of biologically and
linguistically computational tools and methodologies to address complex a
nd challenging real-world problems to which traditional approaches may not
be very effective. Major constituents of CI are neural networks\, evoluti
onary algorithms\, fuzzy systems\, and hybrid intelligent systems. This wo
rkshop is a joint initiative by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Societ
y and IEEE students chapter SRM University to enhance the awareness of the
problem solving abilities of CI tools and techniques. The workshop will p
rovide an introduction to all three major facets of CI and discuss some of
the advancements in the fields and some challenges for the researchers. T
he workshop is intended for students\, research scholars and young faculty
members who have interest in CI.
