\nWelcome\, musicians from every part of the country\, every conceivable realm of music\, welcome to the biggest rock band contests of the North E ast\, Rock O Phonix of Alcheringa\, IIT Guwahati!

\nContest Terms &\; Conditi ons
\n
\n1. Bands from any college and music academies are allow ed to participate.
\n
\n2. There will be no language restriction s on the entries.
\n
\n3. A Band will only be considered\, if th ey have atleast one audio added to their profile
\n
\n4. There i s no College\, Age\, Location restriction on the members.
\n
\n5 . This is a 2 Stage contest\, where prelim/elimination round will be condu cted online on Muslate.com\, followed by a live finale event which will be held during the course of the festival at IIT Guwahati\, India
\n
\n6. Muslate.com will own all the exclusive rights for the content that will be posted by you during the contest.
\n
\n7. Muslate.com i s no where responsible for any copyright infringement.
\n
\n8. A ny dispute arising due to any confusion regarding the contest shall be res olved only by IIT Guwahati and Muslate.com and the decision or resolution provided will be considered final.

\nRules for Elimination Ro und
\n
\n9. Each band will need to nominate their band profile f or the contest.
\n
\n10. Shortlisting for the finale event will be done based on public voting
\n
\n11. Entry Submission for con test may subject to rejection.
\n
\n12. Winners of the prelim ro und will be rewarded with direct entry to Rockophonix National Prelims dur ing Alcheringa and Travel Reimbursement will be provided according to a la id down policy. To know more Click Here

\nRules for Finale Ev ent
\n
\n13. Finalists will need to manage all the travel and ot her expenses on their own\, apart from the winner of the online Prelim rou nd.
\n
\n14. Bands will have to bring their own musical instrume nts and effects. However programmed music is not allowed. Standard drum se t will be provided.
\n
\n15. Each band will be given 30(25 + 5) minutes for their performance in which also includes the sound check.
\n
\n16. Each band will be allowed to perform as many tracks within the stipulated time limit. A band will be required to perform at least one original.
\n
