SUMMARY:Advancements in Robotic Welding Technology 2019
LOCATION:Coimbatore Institute of Technology\, Coimbatore
DESCRIPTION:<p>Robotic welding is being initiated to satisfy a perceived ne
ed for high-quality welds in shorter cycle times removing the most of the
deficiencies attributed to the human factor. Thus\, robotic welding is cri
tical to welding automation in many industries such as automotive\, aerosp
 ace\, power\, nuclear\, shipping etc.<br />\n<br />\nThe main objective of
the workshop is to provide basic concepts and practical knowledge about v
arious robotic welding system and its applications to the welding engineer
s\, faculty members and researchers. Also it is aimed to present an in-dep
th knowledge about the robotic welding processes\, the welding robots and
the corresponding industrial applications. Participants will be given a de
monstration on Robotic Welding and Friction Stir Technology.</p>
