Abhyuday is the social body of IIT Bombay which aims at sens itizing the youth towards the issues plaguing the society. We are the larg est student social body across India that works with the vision to channel ize youth towards India’s social challenges.

\nAs a part of our efforts to promote Social Entrepreneurship among the youth of India\, we organize an Action Plan Competition\, which is a 6-month long social e ntrepreneurship competition in which we ask the teams to develop the start up in different social sectors.
\n
\nAbhyuday started 8 years ba ck\, with a group of socially inclined students who felt the
\nneed f or a body\, which provides opportunities to the students of the institute who wish to
\nwork for a better society. With a vision to channelize the youth towards India's social
\nchallenges\, Abhyuday has establis hed itself as one of the country’s largest student-run
\nsocial bod ies in the mere span of 8 years. Our flagship being Action Plan competitio n and
\nCareer Counselling Campaign\, we also conduct year-long event s like volunteer weekends\,
\nconferences\, donation drives\, exhibit ions and provide social fellowship\, internship
\nopportunities to th e students of the institute.
\nThe notion of Human beings has always been to think and a bigger goal in
\ntheir life. In the midst of that pursuit\, they have intentionally or unintentionally raised
\nsome s ocial issues that in turn stand in their way to success. Nonetheless\, we believe it is
\nhigh time now to bring the best\, smart and innovativ e young minds of our country in front
\nof the world where they thems elves try to solve numerous challenges that have plagued
\nour societ y for a long time. Unfortunately\, most of the startups built around them fail because
\nThey lack the required business plan. We believe that young minds hold the key to solve numerous challenges that have plagued ou r society for so long. It’s the need of time to channelize this energy i n the right direction which can definitely change the lives of people arou nd us.
\nAbhyuday 2021-22 brings to you\, Action Plan: the social
\nentrepreneurship competition of Abhyuday\, IIT Bombay\, where we help such startups
\nconvert their idea into a scalable business model. It revolves around the 3I’s mantra: Ideate - Innovate - Implement. Spread across 20+ states\, this nationwide competition takes the participating te ams through multiple stages\, starting from identifying a specific problem through stakeholder interaction\, progressing to engage with stakeholders and organizations in developing a solution\, and validating those ideas i n the society for further improvement.
\nIn order to fulfil these dre ams\, Abhyuday IIT Bombay brings together the brightest from colleges\, th e best from corporate\, the learnt from academia and the experienced from NGOs and creates a platform where young minds are nurtured to create solut ions that have the potential to bring about grass root level changes.Start ed in 2012\, it has rapidly expanded and last year reached to around 700+ teams of 2000+ different colleges in 50+ cities across India.
\nActio n plan is a 5 month long competition which happens in three stages.
\ nThe registration will start from the 29th of September and will end by 5t h November. After that 20% of teams will be selected in the second stage\, this year we will be providing an advanced entrepreneurship bootcamp to a ll the participants of Action plan and also they will be given opportuniti es to prepare their elevation pitch with the help of top accelerator mento rs of India.
\nThis year's Action plan is going bigger with prizes wo rth 15 lakhs\, mentorship\, funding opportunities\, incubation opportuniti es\, networking opportunities\, startup services\, media coverage and many more incentives.

\nAction Plan is the one of the most popular and Asia’s fastest growing Social Entrepreneurship challenge held by Ab hyuday\, The Social Body of IIT Bombay. The competition\, which was incept ed 10 years ago\, has grown from 50 teams competing for a mere INR 10\,000 to a competition which now sees over 700 entries competing for prizes wor th INR 15 Lakhs at stake with excellent incubation\, networking and fundin g opportunities in India\, USA and Europe.

\nThe past 1.5 yea rs showed us how difficult times call for extreme measures and how little and huge organizations all around the world are suffering due to the crisi s. Action Plan is not just another competition\, it is a celebration of id eas and learning that each and every one of us has ever had. With the same vision\, we are here to support and guide all the big and even the smalle st ideas that have the power to impact the whole world\, ranging from sect ors like Healthcare\, EdTech\, Agriculture to sectors like Women Empowerme nt\, Water Management and Employability.
