About Event
PULSE is the annual Socio-cultural Literary and Sports fest, organised by the AIIMS Students' Union from 16th to 22nd of September every year. This is one of the largest congregations of individuals from medical fraternity in the entire Asia.
With a crowd of over 15,000 students from 700 colleges across India, more than 250 events including star nights, fashion shows and rock nights, spanning 7 days and nights- PULSE has gained the reputation of a fest to be in and look forward to.
Events
P-wave: one of the landmark events of Pulse (and something we AIIMSonians take pride in!) is a musical drama performance that sets the "beat" rolling
Socio-cultural: From the heart-melting classical Hindustani to the fire-boiling rock, group and solo competitions in music encompass all the genres therein!
Literary: The literary society, " What's in a name ?", presents the litfest under Pulse 2018 titled "Climactic Procrastination!".Quizzes of indefatigable genres, (Literature, Pop-Culture, Science, India and the like), spoken events and informal night events
Fine Arts events: Rangoli making, T-shirt poster and face painting, clay modelling and henna contest are just a few among the variety of events included here
Sports events: Victories here are forged by the perseverance of sweat, endurance and athletic skill. Here we watch to-be-doctors put the best of the game to shame! Basketball, Volleyball, Swimming, a collection of Athletic events are a mere subset of what this department provides.
