Participants are requested to fill the registration form and send the Demand Draft for Rs.500 towards refundable deposit, to be drawn in favor of “The Principal, KCG College of Technology, Chennaiâ€. The scanned copies of the registration form and the DD has to be sent by email to the Secretary, Organizing Committee (jaraline.ece@kcgcollege.com) and the originals by post.

Two Week Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Integrating Geographical Information System (GIS) into E-Health and Telecommunication From 20.11.2017 to 03.12.2017
Workshops
The objective of this program is to learn how
• In telecommunication, GIS includes activities like planning transmission capacities, fiber-network design, locating cellular telephone transmitters, recording customer complaints, and using geo-demographic information to find new customers which can facilitate and improve Telecom Network Management.
• To deploy a New Broadband and fiber optic cable network
• To provide optimal locations of territorial telemedicine spots in correspondence with health care authorities.
• GIS can be instrumental to develop various health related data for finding how diseases spread over a wide area.
• GIS technology is increasingly used in public telecommunication and health research using various GIS Tools.
• To provide networking and knowledge opportunities for those with an interest in new method surveillance and risk assessment with the view to improve the health conditions arising from a rapidly changing environment.
