About:
SPECTRA, the annual technical festival of Sardar Patel College of Engineering is back this time on 27th, 28th and 29th of January, 2017!
Organized by the joint efforts of the students of Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Departments, the festival has gained its reputation as being one of the most popular technical festivals in the state of Maharashtra.
SPECTRA has always been an excellent platform for students to display their knowledge, technical ingenuity, and creativity, which they have acquired over their course of their engineering education, in several challenging events, competing with other like-minded individuals from all over the city.
Ever since its inception in 2014, the popularity of the festival has been increasing exponentially every year. Now this time in its fourth year, the festival promises to be still bigger and better, presenting a wide spectrum of events in Robotics, Automobiles, Electronics, Coding, Civil Engg and Gaming, along with Technical Paper Presentations, Tech Debates and Expert Lectures.

Theme:
War of Imagination -
Every day, our imagination clashes with the reality. Take the example of Nikola Tesla. His ideas changed the world, however many remained in the confines of the pages of his notebook. In this current era, technology is crossing barriers daily. Our imagination is constantly at war with the reality. Sometimes it wins, many times it loses. Keeping in mind this battle, we want SPECTRA 2017 to help simulate ideas, and this takes us one step further in winning this "war". In its essence, the theme of SPECTRA 2017 is about the fact, that our reality tries to set boundaries on our imagination, and these should be broken.
