Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, NIT Hamirpur brings you the 21st iteration of its annual cultural festival , Hill’ffair’09 to be held this october. This fiesta, lasting 3 nights and 2 days from the 30th of October to the 1st of November, 2009 is personified by energy, exuberance, and elegance. An amalgamation of the trendiest of artwork, the finest of colours, the most diverse of cultures, the grooviest of music, the bassiest of beats, the thumpiest of dances, the most vivid & exquisite of emotions et al, this event shall take you to a totally different world of bliss and in the end you shall be left craving for more.
Hill’ffair explores to celebrate cultures from all corners of the country and imbibes these celebrations with bubbling enthusiasm, energy and the urge to fly high. Confetti and Graffiti are just parts of the show....
The music, dance, dramatics, fine arts, English and Hindi clubs set the stage alight while the decoration, informals and other clubs maintain the reverbs off the stage. Over the years Hill'ffair has carved a niche for itself and attracts participation from all around the country. This fest is graced by the performances of various well known bands, performers and the best of DJs.
To the head banging and the craning necks at the rock performances, to beating the dust off the dance floors at the war of DJs, to finding finesse and grace and all the stylish trends on the ramp at Fash P, to galas and rhythmic vibes at the musical nite,.... to the cult that Hill’ffair is, we raise a toast....and we welcome you all.......

ROCK NITE
Allow us to create ripples of energy here...with the rock nite, a nite where music speaks only one language, where psychedelia is the only indulgence and where ROCK is the only religion. Renowned rock bands of India are invited to NIT Hamirpur and their stunning performances wont let you get over the hangover, and your necks would crave for more headbangs.
MUSICAL NITE (EUPHONY)
Don’t just hum along on your own, join the whole band wagon and sing out loud as here is a nite that would take you through realms of rhythm, time and unison. The mesmerising performances of our singers would clinch a place in your heart. The melodies, the ballads and the hip hop numbers leave you enthralled.
DJ NITE
The whole OAT turns into a dance floor as the DJ spins the jukebox and lets the beats roll in. Its hard to resist the temptation to let the momentum soak in and start grooving. The foot tapping music makes the atmosphere electric with intensity and lets all of you go wild.
ADAM and EVE
To check out whose got the beauty and the brains, NIT Hamirpur has its own pageant where the Adam and Eve(a.k.a. Mr. and Ms. Hill’ffair) are chosen on the basis of looks, personality, intelligence, social awareness and attitude. The magnetism of the show would make you lazzle-dazzle.
FashP (GLAMOURAZZI)
A major attraction of the cultural fest , Fashp , is a potpourrie of attitude, grace and poise. Gratifying the appetite for beauty and perfection, the students of this institute portray a paraphernalia of trends . Be it formal wear or party, ethnic or street wear, name it and its here. The models are simply stunning and look awesome in their gorgeous attire and graceful ramp walk that would leave you enchanted.
